My first shot with Canon 50mm 1.8.

I like the little catchlights in the eyes..very nice shot that keeps you looking..thanks for sharing.

Thanks I took other shots that day and all of them had a out of focus eye, this one was the best.
What could I have done to insure both eyes are in focus?
A bigger aperture ?

I could be wrong, being new to this too, but I think with a fixed focal length it would be distance to the subject. Beautiful shot by the way!

I was very close to her, about 2 ft.
