Default Syria 2008

Hi, I was looking through my pics from summer 2008 vacation in Syria and I found some that I'd like to share and hear your opinion on them - back then I was shooting with Sony Cybershot DCS W50:
Kessab, Syria - an Armenian village in the mountains close to the Syrian-Turkish border:

I liked the contrast between the falling-apart house which seemed uninhabited and the neat pots of flowers. I also like how the picture turned out with the rays of sun falling on the flowers:

The beach of Cote d'Azur de Sham hotel, Lattakia, Syria. The woman in the picture was sitting as straight as the palm tree:-):

An house in the Old town of Damascus:

These are really awesome..and thank you for sharing them. It's so nice to see parts of the world we know we will never get to.

Hi ali
great shots my favourites are the first and last. Love the glimpse of the distant buidings through the wooden shutters and the the last with the archway

Wonderful shots, and all very different too, yet equally great. I'm with diz - think my particular faves are the first and last.

Those are all great. I also like the 2nd one with the appearance of an uninhabited building, yet fresh and alive flowers on the wall.
