My first Hindi wedding
My friends got married and one half is Christian and the other is Hindi. Here are a few pictures from the Hindi ceremony. The first two are with my zoom lens. The second two I used my brand new 50mm fixed focal length lens. Enjoy!
 The aarti tray.  The groom being welcomed by the mother of the bride just before the ceremony. This picture is taken just after the mother used the aarti try to apply the red mark on his forehead.  The bride entering the ceremony.  A reverse shot of the bride entering the ceremony. Family and friends awaiting. The rest of the wedding shots can be found HERE They had a church ceremony on Saturday and the Hindi ceremony on Sunday. Both sets of pictures are there.

Hi there and welcome to a great community, I hope you enjoy your time here. I have to say I really like your images, I have to say I really like your first two images but think the last two are slightly dark but that also brings out the beautiful colors in the clothes. I would really love to photograph a Indian wedding as the whole ceremony and celebrations would have so many good opportunities for excellent images. You have done a really nice job here, well done and thanks for sharing them.

a nice colourful set - I like the 1st as it offers a different sort of perspective to proceedings
