Default Little Cottonwood Canyon sunset

I recently purchased a replacement for my faithful little Canon SD600 (after nearly 9000 frames!). My new camera is a Canon Rebel T1i. I'm still learning how to shoot, now I also get to learn how to shoot with my T1i! I decided to go play with it up Little Cottonwood Canyon Wednesday after work. I ended up shooting just over 280 frames, nearly all of which are "bracketed" for HDR processing. So...about 90 actual different shots during my 3 hour drive!

I'm still learning my way around the T1i, but I'm having a blast! Here are a few right off the memory card, unedited other than re-sized. Let me know what you think!

Great shots. I love the car shot with the nice scenery behind the flash car. The silhouette shots are superb. TFS

Fabulous! Love them all, especially the 3rd one where you can see the lights twinkling in the valley. I have the same camera too, I love it!

So far, I love it! I'm just a "beginning hobbyist", so I have a lot of learning to do, but it's a fairly simple camera to use. I've only begun to scratch the surface of its capabilities though! I've really only used the Auto Bracketing, and Full Auto settings so far! I hope to be spending more time around here and learning more about actual "Photography" now that I'm out of the point-n-shoot realm!

Thanks for the comments! Keep em comin'! I will put up some more pics from this set later today.
