Default Dragged Into This! and "I placed!"

When I saw this old salvageable wreck in the ferry line-up I had to shoot it (and the Ford Pickup). The net covering the car in the first two photos mezzmerized(spelling?) me to no end. I loved the way it flowed with the contours of the car. I also wanted to add that the last photo in this set is going to represent our photo club in an annual provincial nature composition. I highly doubt that this photo will fair as well in the provincial competition because the calibre I have seen from previous competitions have been unreal. Still, for being a new club member and placing in the club top-ten was special! I still feel somewhat dumbfounded. Anyway, I hope you enjoy these, and always feel free to leave a comment.

Good job of capturing what you saw and felt.. It would have mesmerized me too. Takes me back to my childhood. Logged many a nap in the back seat of those things while on trips. Thanks!

Excellent set of car photos. I like the netting over the car being towed. There's something about on old pickup that's seen better days, especially if they're still kicking. Don't sell yourself short on your landscape. It is very good, and congratulations on being selected to represent your club!
