Well, you're off to a nice start. You have a good eye. Technically, as I understand the rules for this section of the forum we are only supposed to encourage each other with positives. This is where we get our confidence built up before we walk the plank on critic's row. LOL
But since you asked for tips, I would suggest cropping the bee photos tightly to form a vertical image. Then as you are able, without losing resolution, (clarity), enlarge so as to make the bee more dominant than the blurred background. By the way, throwing the background out of focus as you did here was a good move. You may be new but you seem to already be taking control. Happy shooting friend.

My only tips are, watch your lighting. It may just be me, but your first two pictures are a little whited out. I really like the idea of the second photo, but it might work better if you darkened it and maybe even saturated the colors a little (just a tiny bit).

I agree about cropping the bee shots, but the first image is awesome! Too bad you did not get rid of the power lines as they are a little distracting. Great set though!

Hello and welcome to DPS.....I cloned out the powerlines for you....if you want me to remove this pic, just let me know.
You can do this on Picnik....I use this program, I don't have photoshop, but it does get the job done.
BTW....I love this tree....would love to see a colored one.

You would have to purchase the Picnik Pro for $25 a year....then you can do a whole lot more with your pics. The cloning tool is under "Touchup" at the very bottom. Personally I think picnik is worth the money....
