I was feeling a bit down this morning so instead of letting things get to me i decided to take the camera outside. I have a log that i use as a stepping stone near my pond out the back and this stuff has started to take over...i thought it was kind of pretty in a unusual way.

thankyou..i thought the pattern of it was pretty cool...i upped the saturation a little to bring out the colour.

Great capture. Mushrooms are amazing with their many different colors sizes and shapes. Those particular 'shrooms are Polypores, better known as shelf mushrooms. Some are quite delicious. You might want to take a sample to a local mushroom expert. You could be delighted.
