Default A Tribute

I'm dedicating my 7000th post to my beautiful island - American Samoa .. about two weeks ago, it got demolished by a strong earthquake and a tsunami .. the outlook may be a little bleak now but, in time, you will recaptured your beauty -

A Tribute

Nice shot Howard. Very sorry to hear about your homeland. My husband's workmate had family over there. He lost both parents, his grandparents, two brothers, a sister and nieces & nephews. Poor bloke only has one sister and a neice left. They lived/worked by the resort that was ravaged by the tsunami. Shocking time for everyone. Hope your family are all ok. Thanks for sharing this shot Howard.

An excellent tribute Hayward...very fitting. World-wide, people have seen the devastation that your beautiful homeland has suffered and our hearts go out to all the many people that have been lost and their families that are left behind to cope with the loss and the huge task of re-building their lives. I'm happy to hear that your loved ones are indeed safe and well.

Well done and well said, Hayward.

Here's to a speedy and full recovery, while still remembering the loss.
