Default Coastline waves, kelp .........................

Yesterday in the Pacific Ocean there were more big earthquakes ( 7.8, 7.3, 7.1 - there were 9 in fact as at last night ) with tsunami warnings. These were cancelled later. Went to the coastline to take some shots of the sea and even though it was quite calm managed the take these to share with you all.

Small wave breaking on the rocks ....

.. and coastline kelp swirling around in the sea

Bernz these are brilliant. Perfect timing with the breaking wave in the first one. The first and last ones are my favourite.

Thanks Chalkie - plenty of drama not not as much as it usually is. Must get back there on a day when the waves are really active - the only problem then is that you need to cover your camera to protect it from the sea spray. Cheers, Bernz

Great shots, although with a tsunami warning I would not be heading for the sea

Thanks Silver - I agree but it had been cancelled when I went. It's hard for us to avoid it as we are surrounded with water but we do have hills to escape too. Cheers, Bernz
