2008 P2P trip: England & France

We had great weather in England. It was sunny almost 98% of the time we were there. :] Personally, I enjoyed the cloudy and foggy things better than the sunny not so cloudy ones. ^^ Twas fun, but rushed, and batteries loved dying on me. Anywho. On to the photos~.

This was around the second or third day we were there. :[ I bought a new camera, HP Photosmart (I can't remember what model, I'm sorry), and was fiddling around with it. :] I think the British flag is pretty. The first is of the flag above a shop.



We stopped here for shopping and blah. :] I didn't go in the church, just chilled and took pictures of people, clouds, my face, and the exterior of the church. I think they were doing some remodeling close by it, so it was a hint distracting. >>;



I wasn't going to post this, but what the hey. :] Venus. The Centaur one has some more info. I would have loved to take more pictures, buuuuut. :[ Rushrushrush. So much to do overseas. ^^;



And, my personal favorite for last. :] I adore Centaurs, they're my second favorite mythical creature (Third if werewolves count. X3) Second to dragons (werewolves first, though. :3). We had to do a 'treasure' hunt where we looked all around The Louvre for famous classical works. :[ They had some spiffy things in there that I didn't get the chance to photograph, or get good shots. ;-; but this was just after we saw the Venus statue. :]~ This was the last day we were in France and headin' home.

Good subjects. Too bad you had to rush through it. Potentially some good shots if you are willing to do some editing--cropping, improving shadows, highlights, contrast etc.
