Good series Patrick, kudos on the paddocks shot. Hope to see some action from the upcoming races in the future.

Fred, In all of the years I have been here....I have never been to the races at Keeneland,....not sure why......I was bored to tears at the Kentucky Derby because it was a race every hour....race lasts two minutes so for 58 minutes there is nothing to do until the next unless you need a beer or need to get to a gambling window or need to find a pretty girl...none of which I need to do....so the races don't have much appeal to me

I enjoyed this selection of pictures and what an interesting set up they have Keeneland. I see its open every day and used a good deal more than any of the UK racing venues, who could learn a good deal from Keenelands example.
I also noticed theres an Opening Day, Friday, October 09, 2009, and a FallStars Weekend, Friday, October 09-11th , 2009, are you paying a return visit for more pictures Patrick ?

These give you a very good sense of this world of horse racing. I especially like the shot of the truck passing through the decending paddocks. That's a sweet shot!

Put $10 on lucky number 2 in the 5th race for me, please. I'll pay you back on Tuesday....Enjoyable set, and I believe the paddock shot is my favorite as well

Neat shots, P. I've never been to a horse track. Often wondered what went on inside the gates. Some great photo opps, as you have shown. Thanks for sharing.
