Default Lunch at the Park

A simple post today....No fancy words...
Took lunch at the park today. Found some photo ops....

A simple flower:

And then a butterfly that thought I was sweet. I would flex my toes and it would open its wings. I had to shake it off to get it to leave. I've never had anything like that happen before.

Wow what great shots. There is something peaceful about watching butterflies flutter about, you have captured these beauties superbly. And for one to land on your toes, cool. I love the last shot with the open wings.

Nice work, Mike! I like the colors of the butterfly. I've yet to see any butterflys here in the desert, jst moths that pretty much don't have any color! Thanks for the share.

The new butterfly whisperer, good shots on them all. Teach me the butterfly secret, I can't get them to stop and no where close to landing on me.

Nice shots, Mike! Lunch well spent! You should put that second up on the Assignments: Bokeh thread. It's a keeper!

Nice lunch! Nutrious and magical. Being mistaken for a flower is not an everyday occurence. Butterfly wings are always a refreshment to the eyes.
