Default Bride- Please comment!

This was my first wedding as Des. Photographer. Quite stressful, don't think I will do it again. They loved the pictures and I really like this one. There is absolutely NO post production done to this one. Please comment. Thanks Jen

Striking pose and I like the background. Do you know the focal length used on it?

I've heard a lot of people say weddings are stressful to shoot but worth it in the end...what happened at this one? If you don't mind me asking, of course.

Nice composition, Jen. I like the way the veil is floating in the breeze

Hi, Thanks for the commpliment. The focal Length on this one is 6.3mm. The wedding was stressful for me because I was by myself and there were tons of other people taking snap shots and especially in group photos it was hard to get the whole wedding party of 14 to all look at me (thank goodness of PS photo merge!!) Somehow a lot of the guests found out where we were going for pictures after the ceremony so I had to deal with that at the scenic park we chose for formals. URGH!!!
Despite all of that, I got a lot of good shots. The bride didn't even know I took this picture. She was looking at someone else taking snapshots. So at least some good came out of it.

I think I would have posed her differently, tried to pick-up some sun light on her face. I don't find anything else too distracting, but the lighting bothers me. Maybe even a little fill light? - Do another one, you've got to now.. to try flash fill :-)

I found a way to overcome stress at most big get togethers. When you first show up ask a few earnest but trivia questions that may take some time and energy on the part of the people in general, be honest and smile a lot. People like to feel as though they are part of the larger group and will go out of their way to help.

You need not feel any stress as you are better at the camera thing than anyone at any wedding.

Remember, you are the pro and no one makes a camera talk like you do.

Wow, sounds like you needed a whistle or something. I guess the digital age is a curse and a blessing...if this was a wedding in 1980, only one or two other people would bring their camera along. Looks like you came out on top regardless, nice work Jenny.
