Default Rigid Structures Amongst the Clouds

I took these photos while I was waiting to get on the BC Ferry at Tsawassen. I found the contrast bvetween the structures and the clouds behind them very interesting. I hope you enjoy them.

Interesting shots Paul. Nice contrast against the blue sky in the first one.

Nice control of the exposure. The second shot almost looks as though the towers are connected to the clouds behind them - they line up so nicely.

I would like to thank all of you for the generous comments. I have learned so much since I joined up with this site. I had entered three photos in one of our provincial competitions, and one of them made it into our club's top ten. This means I will be one of the members representing our club in this provincial competition, which is about celebrating nature, and photos could not have any evidence of the "Hand of Man." I am so excited as I just joined the club this year! Thanks again to not only the posters on this thread, but to all the members who have helped me along the way with great constructive comments that forced me to really think about what I was doing with my photography. As far as I am concerned this is a win for this site as well. Let's hope that my photo goes the entire distance now!
