Default a sunrise interlude

for those of you who have been following my Africa trip postings it may not have passed you by that I have posted nothing else.....I haven't picked up my camera since I got back so on Sunday morning I was up at the crack of dawn hoping to get one of the great sunrises I see every morning on the way to work.....sadly it wasn't to be although I got this image that I quite liked once I'd played about with it a bit

Good job with the playing Sheldon. I like how you captured the low lying mist in the distance too. It may not be Africa but it's a great shot. Nice work my friend.

Dave.

thanks Dave, I've taken a lot of shots around here but this is the 1st one I've been happy with - it was also one of my 1st ever attempts on fully manual

It was serene - me a jogger and an old lady with a dog - i'm not even sure the sun had come over the horizon yet

It certainly is a boat - loved the way it's red top was the only major colour in the image
