Default Autumn Shoot

Yesterday I went out to one of the parks in my area and took some photos of the fall colours. Coupled with several more shots of my mom's dahlias, I took over 200 pictures (though not all turned out). Here are three of the photos from yesterday:

Very nice pictures. Great Color, I tried this about a week ago and when I got out and started shooting I realized the wind was way to strong, needless to say I had no success at fall colors. I did end up getting some nice pictures of some deer though.

Thank you both! It was windy yesterday, so when I was shooting the little flowers (I think my mom said they were wild asters) it was a little difficult.

My favorite also...

Shelley, it's amazing when we go out to shoot a "few" pics and we come home with 100s, yes? I'm like you, shoot, shoot and then shoot again, isn't that why 'delete' was invented?

Great fall colors! How I long for a real fall...instead of this desert brown stuff! Thanks for sharing.

I love the fall colors! I wish we would get seasonal color here but all we get is hot and hotter with the occasional wind storm. Thanks for sharing.

I too think they are great shots. I particularly like the second one too. Perhaps it's because of, yes, the colours, but also that I could see myself sitting at the picnic table with a mug of hot cocoa/milo just listening to the birds etc around me. Awesome pics.
