Default Moody first snow fall shots. B&W

Last weekend I was in Fernie BC and got a few shots of the first snow fall of the year. The weather was quite moody also.

Thanks. I have uploaded the colour shots and another one also: The lighting and weather was such that they almost look as if they are B&W with some colour added but I assure you its the real deal.

Nice shots! I love the soft tones of the B/W. The color ones are just a good as the B/W. I'm a sucker for the fall colors! Thanks for sharing, and welcome to DPS!

..the b&w are wonderful..simple and serene but my vote goes to the colored ones..the composition, the reflections and the contrasting colors gave the feeling that fall has arrived..

These are great. As you touched on, the contrast between the seemingly desaturated peaks and the vibrant foliage makes for some great interest. Now I'll have to add BC to my travel list. Welcome to DPS!

Funny thing is that shot is from a crappy little pond right behind the Canadian Tire. I went to Fernie to celebrate my birthday with the ulterior motive of shooting at Island lake Lodge (add this to your travel list) but the access road was closed
