Default St Louis Harbour

These cranes made such an interesting sight that I couldn't resist the photo opportunity. I had to take several shots to eventually get a composition that included everything I wanted to see, with the right depth of field as well. I'm still not sure that I got the best possible photo out of the shot, but here's my pick of the lot. If I ever had to make a puzzle out of one of my photos, this would be the one I'd choose.

Nicely captured Juice, and it looks like a great location. I can imagine this with the sun setting and the water flat calm, long shadows and reflections

Thanks, Beach

Ah, if only we'd have been there for that! Still, I was quite lucky. Even though it was pretty much full-on midday when I was at the harbour, it was a little overcast and the light wasn't as harsh as it would have been otherwise.

And thank you as well

Strangely it wasn't that busy at all. Those fancy light posts you see on the right are actually right in front of the little customs and clearance office at the harbour. There was hardly any activity and people were mostly just lazing about, either on their boats or on the shore.
