Hello everyone,

My name is Priya and I am very new to the absolutely wonderful world of Photography. I have an Olympus E420 (my baby!) and Ive only started clicking about 4-6 months ago. Im posting a few of my (better) shots and I would love to have your comments/critiques/thoughts. Im glad to have found DPS-so much to learn. Your comments will be very appreciated and will help me get better at this art that I am loving!

Thanks,
Priya.

Hi Priya,

I see you said you were posting images and your post was edited by one of the board mods. You might want to check out the posting rules at the top of this board - my guess is your images were either too large or you posted too many.

I look forward to seeing what you have!

I have a very large framed photo that looks nearly the same as you first photo..its hanging over my sofa in the living room..you did a great job on it. All are very good but you might want to post in critique forum if your looking for more critiques. Look forward to seeing more.

Welcome to DPS

You have taken some great shots. I like the first one but it could be straightened a bit. The second one is my fave with the light glowing against the bricks. You have a good eye for composition. I look forward to seeing more from you.

Thanks for that AngelB. Yeah, I am still to learn and try keeping my pictures a little more straight. Hopefully practice will fix that. Its really wonderful to have all this encouragement from everyone here

Good to see the shots up!

I really like the third shot. The wisps of cloud look like they're clinging to the branches of the tree. I think it's a good reminder to look in all directions for photos, not just in front of you.
