Default We live amongst colour

After days and days of overcast weather we had a beautiful clear blue sky yesterday. It was a chilly day as we had a good dumping of snow around the country, even in places that we don't normally have it. So I decided to focus on colour to help warm me up and remind me that yes it is springtime here in New Zealand not winter.

A colourful surrounding at a picnic area.

Sitting amongst colour

Beehives buzzing with bees.

Beehives

A springtime blossom.

Blossom

One of the first roses of the new season.

Red rose

Thanks for looking.

Yes Angela that warms me up a bit too - clear skies today but it is still cold out there.

Love that picnic shot. Cheers, Bernz

Beautiful set here, so bright and cheerful. I love the third shot of the blossoms, the colors are so soft and pretty. Very nice.

Beautiful flowers, colourful beehives and a lovely picnic area bursting with colour, your spring is really springing into life. I love the way the blue sky brings out the lovely colours in the picnic area. A lovely set of colourful photographs Angela.

Dave.

Yes we do Angela and you captured so very colorful pictures. I really like the idea of the multi colored bee hives. Most of the ones in the States are White. I really like your spirng blossoms.
Thanks for sharing these

Angelb, the first photo is awesome! I like everything about your post...except the fact to hear it is Spring there (good for you) and we are looking at winter setting in here in the States.
