Gilbert's Cove, Nova Scotia

A lovely cove on the southwestern shore of NS - lays claim to "the greatest little lighthouse in Canada"! A beautiful location, just like everywhere else in NS that I managed to see on my short trip.

OK, I've just added a pic with the lighthouse too - I have a big thing for lighthouses so I thought I should add that in too.

Nice shot, Sox!! You get an A+++++ for compostion on both counts! I really like the sun behind the rock, and the stream has a mesmerizing affect on you! The background is unreal! Well done!

Beautiful shots! I don't live all that far from NS - the next province over (NB) but I haven't had opportunity to get down there to take photos yet.

Thanks to all 3 of you! I was the only person there when I was taking these photos, it was surreal. The sky really was lovely as the sun was setting Cathy.

Yeah. The heat has baked my brain. Looks like a mirage to me!!! (gasp...food...water...atmosphere!!!)
