Default The Parliament Building - HDR

Victoria Parliament Building

The Parliament Building
Victoria, BC
Canada

Sometimes patience pays off, I waited around for nearly 45 minutes waiting for people to clear out of the way for the picture. I know that some people feel that pictures should have people in them, and while I agree to some extent, I felt this image would be more dramatic with out any people in the foreground. I was able to fire off one set of bracketed images before it started raining.

Thanks for looking,
-Tom

What a stellar shot! I've just recently started to dip into the HDR realm, and this shot is truly inspiring.

Good eyes... those people are the on duty security guards, and they were not going anywhere. I figured that they were far enough away that they would not distract from the picture.

Thanks for the nice comment.

well tom.. as most photographers on here.. i have a pretty good eye for details and as you say.. i don't think that the will go away. and no they dont distract from the picture at all. it was just my observant photographer eye that saw it
i absoluty love your picture! keep up the good work and let us see more of this quality
