Rainbow Spray

I'm starting this new "Alphabet Speed Photography" project, and got this shot during my "B is for Balloon" shot. This is a bunch of colored water drops on a balloon, 3 milliseconds after it popped.

Unfortunately, I don't think I can use it for my project because it no longer has the balloon in it

So is the color from that balloon? That looks very cool! Do you mind sharing your settings and possibly how you set up for it? Nice shot!

This is sooo cool I think it might be one of my favorite shots I've ever seen on here! The colors are so pretty

The balloon is black, and I don't think it's in the photo any where.

I used a Canon 580exII and 430exII, both at 1/32nd power and at the 4 and 8 o'clock position. I put about 60 water drops (10 of each color) on the balloon.

I use a sound trigger that fires the flashes when a loud sound is heard, so when the balloon popped, the flashes fired.
