Default A very memorable ride.

Glenn, our friend and boarder, has another friend named Vince that has stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Vince lives in CA and got into horses about 6 years ago, I think. One of his things on his bucket list is to ride the Colorado Rockies before he can't. Yesterday, we did that with him.

We went to Big Elk Meadows near Estes Park. Gorgeous area and it was like we had ordered the day. Just perfect weather. In fact, I commented to Vince, "We ordered this day, just for you"

Vince is out front, leading the way.

One of Vince's high school buddies that wanted to share his day.

I cried during this ride. He is a dying man but still a happy man.

What a priviledge to go on a ride like this. I'm sure it was a very rewarding time to be able to give Vince the opportunity to cross this one off his bucket list and a day you'll never forget

If anyone had met this man, they would be in awe. He was a true inspiration of how you need to live life, even to the end. I hope when it is my time, I handle it with such grace.
