I had made my own panoramic tripod head, and finally had a chance to try it out. This picture was taken this morning in Columbus Circle in NYC.
Unfortunately, its too small because its so long! ![]() The bigger picture can be seen here... http://captnemo.net/images/Columbus_...ano%20copy.jpg |

Very nice pano... You can see all the car on display in 1 shot...
I guess you take the shot from right to left... Can see the guy in the square shirt 4 times... ![]() Sparda The Field of Life |

Thanks guys!
I did in fact go from left to right, but I actually started just to the right of the fountain. Photoshop just happened to merge it perfectly like that the first time! I was so glad I didnt have to play around with it! But man, was it annoying constantly having to wait for the cars to go by! I lived in Florida for three years and comletely forgot how busy NYC can be at 7am on a sunday! I would have liked to do a "little planet" type of shot, but I couldnt fit the whole panoramic tripod head into the trunk. |

Yup. You cloned that one guy four times, but that happens (sigh)--you could try alpha channel masking before stitching, but I have no idea if Photoshop understands that the way the PanoramaTools stitchers (like Hugin and PTGui) do. I do love the lineup of cars at the curb.
If you need a small pano bracket, I'd recommend the Nodal Ninja 3. Well worth the $200 if you plan on shooting a lot of panos. And if that's too expensive, there's always the Panosaurus.
