Default Pulleys-Belt Drives and Gears (Kennecott continued)

Some of the viewers from the first Kennecott post commented on how they would like to see more shots from inside the mine area so i put these together .

Pulleys, Belt Drives, and Shafts
Pulleys Belt Drives and Shafts

Driven, this is part of the equipment used to load the bags of copper ore on the train. See last picture The Loading Bay
Driven

All the ore cars were pulled around the mine tracks by cables
Tow Hook

The Loading Bay is a total view of the Driven shot
Loading Bay

These are all viewed best for detail in the large size on Flickr.

I love the detail in the 2nd picture - the wood grain, the teeth on the gears & the shaft bearings + the overall mix of the angles of the beams & circles of the pulley & gear wheel.

Nice set! I really like the last one and the way it completes the story. Thanks for the share.

I've been enjoying these, Up North. Very interesting and informative. I like all these metal pieces made into the wood.
