Shot this of my son, doing his homework on his laptop - that's where the lighting is coming from.

I really like the soft glow of this one and the way it shows off his features.

Nice shot. I love using ambient light from laptops, Ipod screens, and gadgets. They make for pretty cool shots.

Thanks for your comments, wasn't sure if it was too wishy-washy? Could have maybe used a little more contrast?

I like this shot but I sort of agree with your own question that it might be better with more contrast - very good idea as well
