A girl and her doll
My daughter with her Ariel doll. I was practicing back button focusing(which I LOVE now that I understand it and the settings to "really" use it) on the doll and asked her to get in there because I wanted a photo of her with the doll. Anyway this is what I got.
 Then this she was about to bite on her hand.  I used on board flash bounced off ceiling. ISO 200 f/4 ss 1/180 I believe(off memory)

these are great! the eyes are stunning, and I love how just one of the doll's eyes is showing in the first photo

Thanks. I was so pleased with the focus on the eyes. I didn't even run usm on the eyes like I do sometimes just a general usm on the whole thing.
The flash is an old one my dad had around with a 35mm film he has I've been borrowing it to learn. I'll get my own in Jan/Feb and probably have some new learning curve to it.
