Default After Searching...

I've been looking to photograph these guys for over a year now. Finally had an opportunity today and did what I could to get them. These are all flight photos as they never decided to land anywhere in proximity of my location.

Fly by to give me a look over.

As he was leaving after checking me out.

Looking at the lake for something to eat.

Applying the brakes for a closer look.

Hope you enjoy these, there not award winners but are the first I have taken of these guys.

Hello
I like how you noticed and captured the bird's body language. Amazing!

Thanks moayad, the body language is what makes the shots better.

Thanks Michael, they are decent shots but if these guys will stay around I'll track them down and get closer. Close makes for much better shots.

Great flight captures Fred, what kind of birds are they? They look very graceful and you did a good job of handling the bright sky as well. I hope you find where they live and get some great close ups.
Thanks for sharing these
Michael

Nicely done, Fred. Sometimes it's worth the wait and I'm glad you finally got some shots of them. all are good, but I like the action of the last one the best.
