Default Trinidad,Not Macro

I am trying something new, I hope you enjoy these views of my home country from afar instead of the close ups I usually post. I know they need some work and with your help I hope to improve my landscape shots. Feedback appreciated.

Four good shots, the fourth shot is the better exposed one, but I do like the first shot of the path the best. It is difficult to deal with the sun we have here, keep working it'll come to you soon.

I like the shots especially the one with the road leading up. I don't know if your camera has an equivalent but if it has something like nikon's active D-lighting feature you could try to turn that on and expose for the bright part of the road.
