Default Middle Canyon

Middle canyon is located in Tooele Utah, It climbs up and over the mountain to the Salt Lake valley. At the top of the mountain is an overlook to the Kennacott copper mine (the worlds largest copper mine). It is an impressive sight to say the least. And to think when they started mining it,it was a mountain.

Now the canyon is closed and going to sleep under a fresh blanket of snow.

Thanks for sharing these beautiful fall pictures of Utah. We also have a copper mine here in the Wrangell St. Elias mountains of Alaska owned by the Kennecott Corporattion surprisingly enough called Kennecott Mine. I've posted pictures titled Kennecott Mine inspired by your post. I hope you take time to check it out.
