Default Not sure I know how to post yet

I don't think I am doing this right. When I view these photos here, they don't look near as good. I am doing something wrong.

When you upload your images as attachments, they lose some quality. If you don't already have an account at one of the free photo hosting sites such as Flickr or Photobucket, I'd suggest you do so. You can link to your images from these sites and not lose as much quality. Flickr seems to be the predominant choice for most folks here, and HERE are some excellent instructions on how to post from it.

These are cool shots BTW.

Pretty slick! I've been seeing some really cool effects lately, yours included. I may have to take a stab at this. One thing I've learned though, is that if you use PS to post process, you can (enhance) drop the light levels down just a bit, and increase contrast....the background basically disappears. Welcome to DPS! Thanks for sharing!

Hello! I'm a fan of light painting, too. I like these. How'd you do it? Hang the light from a ceiling, or just hold the light?

Thanks for all the feedback. These were fun to do.

Superku, basically, I hang a small flashlight from the ceiling, and spin it while the camera is stable on the ground. I then use bulb mode to keep the shutter open as long as necessary. It is actually pretty easy to do since I haven't been doing this long.

I like the tip about post processing. Thanks, I will have to try that. My issue is, I am so new to this that I haven't figured the software out yet.

Thanks all.
