Default Plumpkins!

I'm celebrating! My first time entering photos in a contest (the local town fair). This one got a second place ribbon in the Scenic-Farm Colour category! Yay! Happy Autumn everyone!

Very nice shot. This sort of thing isn't usually my cup of tea but the colours really jump off the screen and the compostion/crop is great, too. Keep posting pics like this and I just might become a convert.

nice shot, it ties the produce to the land and makes a statement of the necessity of the farm that makes it all possible

Thank you Michael! I appreciate your comment on the perspective and composition as I'm not formally trained and I don't set out to 'set up' photos I just try to find the things that look nice to me. So, getting technical bits right are exciting cherries on top for me! It's nice to know!
