Default Infrared Landscapes

Ive been wanting to try out infrared for a while, and I got my chance when I was given an infrared filter for my birthday last week... So here are a few shots ive taken over the past week.

Infrared Bridge II

Infrared II

Im not sure which version of this I prefer...

Infrared Tree II
Infrared Tree

Any Ideas on how to remove the hotspots in the last two? Thanks for looking....

Dave

Very nice! As for the hot-spot, it might be that the lens just has one. But maybe try shooting with a hood, or shading the lens to avoid the flare?

Wow!!! Guess what's on my "Gotta have it" list! I'll be getting one! Where'd you get it?

Regarding the hotspots if the hood doesn't work, you can post-process using the "spot healing" brush in PS. It will work very well. I can edit and re-post it in this thread if you like.

Awesome!!! I want one!
I really like the ones with the turquoise sky! Those are my two faves! I've not seen much in the way of IR with color. Very groovy!
What IR filter are you using?

Thanks for the commets, glad you like them. It's a Hoya R72 filter, I got mine from amazon. Equilution, thanks for the tip, feel free to have a go and repost.

Very Nice, I'd like to have one of those filters my self. Another on my wish list. I like the effect on the sky in the 1st two.
Thanks for sharing these
Michael.

Dave...here's a retouch using PS' spot healing brush, and a bit of cloning.
