This was mine! It was with my old Kodak 3.2 mpixel at Yellowstone National Park Lake. Way before I had all my new Nikon gear. Proof that you don't need $10K worth of toys to get a keeper!!! Kinda like a good golfer shooting par with a broomstick...or a good photographer (not me) can get a NatGeo shot with a disposable!

If you think your first shot was in a thread you started (e.g. over in critique or Share Your Shots) you might be able to find it by looking at all the threads you started and viewing the first one... for anyone who might be thinking: how in the heck would I find that?!?

Without going through everything I've ever posted, I'm pretty sure this was the first photo I posted here (in a thread about using filters).

This was from waaaaay back when the forums had just started. But actually, I still really like that one a lot.

My very first photo in SyS was one of four, but here is the first in the list:

HONK!

Funny, it was only posted a couple of months ago, but it seems like I've been here for a very long time.

Great idea! I had four in my first post (here are three of them) and I also only had two responses back then.
