Default Nieces and the normal bird

Haven't been around here much lately, just the normal rat race of life. I have a family shoot coming up so I went digging around in the old files to find some photos to practice PP on.

Here are two of the nieces I've been goofing around with. These are really both just snapshots as the backgrounds are bad, but then again I don't claim to know what I am doing.

Olguita

Marangel

And something I at least know a little about... If I could just get the family to sit on a barbwire or tree limb I might be all right shooting them.

All three are very nice images. I love the third shot of the bird on the wire. Great bokeh in that shot.

Well, dang, Fred. I want to not know what I'm doing as well as you when you "don't know what you're doing". It helps, of course, that they are beautiful women to start with, but your results are very professional. Bird on a wire always welcome.

Thanks everyone for the comments once I do the formal shoot I'll put up a few more. Michael the bird is an immature pin-tailed whydah, but you did make me wonder if my ID was wrong.

Now that's a photo I'd like to see. Great images you got Fred. They are lovely young ladies and you captured them quite well....
