Default Fall Leaves

Just a couple of leaf shots I was having fun with

17/365 FALLing in love

FALLing into Bokeh {explored}

On the second one the background colors were pretty plain and boring, so I used Gimp to select the background and change it to blue. Then I increased the saturation of the leaf (made it a brighter red) and then I used pixlr.com to do a blue cross processing effect.

Both shots were taken with my Canon 450D and 50mm 1.8 lens.

Hope you enjoy them!

Excellent use of spectral highlights in the background to make your shots really sparkle!

Love these! Can you please share the effect that reflected all the hearts in your background?
