Default Baby, baby

So I finally did my first paid baby shoot today, and thought I would share a few of the shots and see what anybody thinks.

Please feel free to give critique, after all, I am here to learn more.

All shot with a Nikon D40 with kit lens and a single studio strobe with softbox.

Thanks, the last one is actually my favorite too. I was lucky that he decided to examine his foot at just the right moment, and shooting into the softbox was an experiment on my part which turned out to be a really good idea.

All the shots are beautiful but I really like the last one. Great use of the lights and shadows to capture a dynamic shot.

That's what I love about photography, you experiment with things that you have never tried before, and end up with something special. The more I look at this photo the more I like it, I just wish the client liked it as much as everybody else does.
