Default Manassas National Battlefield Park - Virginia

I live close to the Manassas Battlefield Park in Manassas, Virginia. I started visiting it this year after a couple years break to seek photographic opportunities. I have fallen for the charm of this old historic civil war battlefield. Here are some of the shots. Your comments and critique is well appreciated.

1.
Henry House - Manassas Battlefield Park

2.
Rolling Meadows - Manassas Battlefield Park

3.
Fall Foliage - Manassas Battlefield Park

4.
Artillery Wagon - Henry Hill

I love the second one - I don't think enough photographers are brave enough to point the lens into the sun. The shadows themselves are a strong subject within the picture - great job!

Default Well done

All of your shots are simply beautiful. My favorite is the fourth one, the lighting is just so pretty.

Tyler,

Thanks. I was apprehensive about taking that shot but could not resist when I saw the shadows cast by the tree.

Sjdj12995,

That was the main reason I ran that day to the Battlefield Park. Thanks.

Isabelle,

Thanks for your comments. I agree, that is one of my favorite shots of the battlefield. But I like them all (lol).
