Default I had my first commercial job!!

These are a few samples from the first commercial job. I was hired by a local tourist website to do their photos. It was really fun to do this kind of work. Just walk around for the day and shoot popular tourist areas with my own artistic twist. It was awesome!

Enjoy and thank you!

Thank you! Japan is awesome. My husband and I have been living here for 7 months now, and really enjoying it.

It's funny story actually. A friend of mine and I were in Tokyo at the Samba Festival, and this guy approached us and asked if we live in the area and if we've been to Kamakura. I said that we lived in the next town over (Zushi), and he asked me if I was a photographer. I said that I've been doing it as a hobby, and I've been dabbling in it as a business for about 6 months. He asked to see some of my work. I gave him my Flickr site info, and that's all she wrote. I got an e-mail about three days later, and I've been working on the project ever since.

Hey Summer! Congrats on the job. What fun. Play like a tourist and get paid for it. Your photos make me want to go there! Well done.

Congradulations on your first job. And awesome photos, too. The story of how you got the job was the icing on the cake though.

Thank you Mike! I'm glad that it makes you feel like you want to visit. That's what I was going for.
