Default The waterfall

This part of the country is very dry, so everyone always hope for a good rainfall in the spring. (South Africa) Therefore this river and waterfall is special, and a great sight to everyone living in the area. It just so happened that this year there were a good rainfall and everything was green.

It start of with a small waterfall over a couple of rocks, to a bigger one and finally end with the highest one just about 100 meters after the second one.
I used a fast shutter speed, cause it was almost midday.
My pics start with the small one

Small waterfall

The bigger one - the smaller fall is just out of view

Another one of the second one - with some people for scale

And the grand finale... the third (and highest) one

Gaba-gal, you tell a great story and take great pictures. I like the transition from quiet, to busy to busiest and using people to scale your work. I think this is an excellent set of pictures and well done the rain for maintaining water levels and the lushnes of the flora.

Wow they are fantastic. Who left the tap on? Hard to believe from that quite little pond a huge waterfall appears. Very nice.

Nice set. It always makes me sad when the waterfalls dry up and are down to a trickle due to lack of rain. I hope they continue to flow as they are beautiful.
