Default King Brown

The king brown, second most venomous snake in the world. This one was about 1.8 meters long or 6ft. My brother shares his garden with him, this one was not happy as one of the dogs just nipped his tail as he was going through a fence. 'Lucky dog"

Fantastic shot with great dof and sharp focus of the snakes head. Also great timing with the tongue sticking out. Thanks for sharing.

I hope you had your zoom lens on to capture this one, and there is no way I'd be letting him live in my yard. I did have one in the yard because I used to come across his skin at times when I least expected it. Far to much of a heart stopper. These days they just seem to pass through.
Anyway great picture, well focused and timed with his tongue sticking out.

Angelb, thanks.

Beachcomber, thanks. I wouldn't share my garden with something so deadly either, i'd be on edge every time i went to the garden.

shmelly, thanks again. I did have my zoom on and my feet ready to make a quick retreat if he decided to head my way
