Default Today was Mommy Monday...

I homeschool my two girls 4 days a week and so I only get one day to myself. They go to class all day one day and that day is on Mondays. I declare them Mommy Mondays! So today my Mom and I went for a drive. We went to Mariposa, CA. It is on the way to Yosemite National Park. We did not have enough time for a trip to Yosemite so we settled on Mariposa. It is a beautiful little town. Here a few shots I got from our outing...

Butterfly

Pink Bells

They are all lovely, but the horse one in particular has my attention... don't know whether it is all the colours complimenting each other, but it is very peaceful.

The last one is amazing - I would lik eit more w/o the frame I think. Its sooooo pretty. The colors are so rich - ok, no more gushing...

The horses really grabbed me here. I'm with private about the frame. The image can stand alone without it. This looks like it would make an excellent print. You might be able to sell a few copies to the equine crowd!

Thank you all very much!
Pat and Jim...is this one better? I must admit I have been a little too frame happy. I need ease up so thanks for the gentle advice! You are both right!

Yup, suits me much better. Your framing was fine, but I like this much better myself. Beautiful.

With shots like these, I'd be casting a vote for Tuesday Truancy Day! I just selected your third shot as a Favorite on Flickr. Grass? Horses? What comes next is swooning! I LOVE this photo!

Looks like a productive day for you Michelle! Good job on the butterfly and the flowers, but I agree that the horses are the best of the lot. I especially like it with out the frame!
Thanks for sharing these
Michael.
