That is a great first shot! I love the perspective, and the red wood contrasting with the black hair of the dog. Well done.

I adore the first shot, what a beautiful portrait of your faithful friend, wonderful contrast against the rich red floorboards. And that pup looks such a cheeky chap (or chapess..).

Usually I am such a sucker for puppy photos no matter the quailty, but the portrait of your first friend is just so captivating, something in his face just says " i am so exsausted from loving you all day" Really love them both and I think you should continue to play with that kind of angle when doing dog shots!
