Default Grand Final Day Bouncy Castle

We had a bunch of friends - and their kids - over for the AFL Grand Final on Saturday. The grown ups yelled at the tv, while I hung outside with the kids and the bouncy castle! These are my favourite shots. Thanks for looking!

All of these are beautiful, but the first two are just gorgeous.

OMG, those are great! I love that hair in the last one and the little girl of #1 and #2 is just too sweet!

I'm always taking pictures of the family kids in the bouncy house. It is definitely a challenge for me, first to keep the pictures clear. They move so fast it is hard to capture what I want - besides them bouncing, it makes me bounce too! Do you have any shots taken further away?

Thanks everyone!

Yeah, it's tough - you almost have to let go of the idea of perfectly focused images, you know? And resisting the temptation to bounce on in there with them is pretty hard, too!

Here are some of the shots from further away:

Wonderful shots - particularly loved the second one

The B/W is a great way to add a different dimension

Thanks for sharing

Yeah, they really came alive when I converted them to B+W - the colour ones are usually killer with kids, but there was just so much colour and movement in the shots that one of the elements had to be taken out!

I used a B+W preset in Lightroom - I've been doing a lot more processing in Lightroom lately, it's such a good program. And I've found heaps of free presets which I find them easier than PS actions to manipulate...that said, they aren't quite as intricate as PS actions so the effects are more basic.
