Default Weekend Away .... Can you guess where?

We took a night away with the kids... I took the Camera hence the post can you guess where we went ? (UK users should get it quickly)

I have edited the pics but the are all from the Nikon simply as I want to get used to the settings etc and they need the edit to bring the best from them

*makes notes must practice more*

Sundown where we were ... must admit the camera made this look way nicer than it was lol

Donkeys wandering by whilst I watched the sunset

Statue guy the next day early start for him hardly anyone around

Amusement arcade that I have given a more sinister look PP

Hope you guys like we had a lovely time ... ones from Zoo will be shown tomo

LOL - It's either Blackpool, or the Eifel Tower has shrunk and the Seine has flooded Paris due to global warming... Until I saw the donkeys on the beach, I was going to plump for Paris...

Nice set. I love the statue guy - what a great expression on his face.

With its three piers, impressive 500ft + tower, famous illuminations and almost two miles of promenade it can only be Blackpool. Great selection FoG, thank you for having me and I'm looking forward to visiting the zoo tomorrow

FoG, a couple of gorgeous sunsets, and I'll bet the donkeys were quite a sight, love the silhouette in that one. I'm sure you and the statue guy had a good conversation. It's kinda like that with us early morning photo addicts, nobody to talk to! Interesting set and looking forward to the zoo.

Spot on thank you the Statue guy kind of whistled oddly (no mouth movement yet as you can see not really open) at anyone and everyone so deserved a pic lol

Thank you Mike he was very interesting as I mentioned above he whistled to everyone yet I could not see how with his mouth closed it was an odd noise but I guess it wasa lip device or something that barely need pursed lips but I wanted to take more but a crowd was gathering to take some and did not want to monopolise him lol... Know what you mean about the early start as I will beup early Thursday in the Hope of catching Sunrise on the lakes near me
