Default Typhoon Undoy in Manila

As much as i wanted to go under the rain and through the flood with my camera, the swimming rats, roaches, and garbage was just not worth it for me. This is actually mild compared to the other areas in Manila where the floods reached about 2 stories high.

and the flood slowly subsides

the day after... mud and gunk all over the streets

I saw some scenes of the carnage and these really are mild compared to the devestation and destruction to the lives and property. I hope it ends soon and your country can recover quickly. TFS

yup, these are absolutely nothing compared to the scenes in heavily affected areas where you'd see cars and even trucks piling up on each other, even saw a photo of a dog hanging on an electrical post by his leash (poor thing!)

I'm only thankful that my family is safe. My prayers go out to people who still haven't heard from their missing relatives.

thanks Michael. I hope this ends soon too... though I heard there's another storm coming this week...

There's another one coming, I'm afraid...

As of now, Pepeng is classified as a Category 5 hurricane (same as Katrina). It's a tropical cyclone & not a storm anymore. It has entered Philippine area of responsibility already, critical hour is 9 PM tonight. It's expected to bring in strong winds (stronger than Milenyo) and also rainfall. Although the eye of the storm will not hit Metro Manila, it's tail/part of the storm's body will.

May God have mercy in us all. Indeed "Pepeng" is coming and we need all thelp we can get. I guess we should take more pics like vincent and "godhears" and post them here at DPS.
