Actually it was a rather subdued weekend. Instead of allowing another one to pass without attempting to capture anything above and beyond the activities of my toddler, I got my camera out and composed as best I could. I kept these three, so thought I'd share.
Playing with my little guy; he wanted to trace my hand for a change. ![]() Not completely happy with my efforts at capturing a water drop, but will live with this one until the next attempt. ![]() The sun was beaming through the clouds after a thunderstorm Saturday afternoon. If you squint hard enough, you can see the sun rays off to the left. ![]() Thanks for looking. Comments always welcome. Hope you all had a pleasant weekend also.

Well, you stayed in the think-like-a-photographer mode all weekend, didn't you? I like your first photo for two reasons: it's a great study in DOF but it tells a story of simple pleasures, namely tracing mommas hand. That just makes me smile, as do the rays that you really do have to squint to see.

Aimee, time spent with the little one is like adding time to the end of your life. such a poignant picture. I like the trail in your water drop shot. I've not seen that before. I actually picked up the sun rays without having to squint. A very enjoyable set.
