Wow Lorraine, that first shot is postcard perfect with all that saturated color and with the lighthouse off to the left side not dominating the frame. Can't imagine any better picture that could be taken off of that beach....great job

Thank you Patrick...ive been waiting to go there for the day but something always comes up and it gets cancelled so i thought this time rain or shine im going...and it was worth it ..just to sit by the marina and watch the boats and sitting on the beach watching the waves...its so peaceful at this time of the year.

Wow! those are some awesome shots Angel. I have yet to get a good capture of a bird in flight, they always seem to blur on me, no matter how careful I am. You certainly are very clever with your camera. TFS

In the context of the other (brighter) shots, it looks a little heavy. And it looks like the added clouds dropped a bit below the horizon on the right side. But otherwise it looks good.

Where were these pictures taken? I'm on the Lake north of Milwaukee and I love to shoot the Lake shore as well.

Thank you for your advice i can see what you mean...i just didnt like the photo being so flat blue so ill try and adjust that. I was at Michigan city which is close to Gary Indiana and about an hour from Chicago. I think its east of chicago but not too sure with directions
