Look Homeward, Angel

My husband and I took a walk through the graveyard that houses the angel that's supposed to have been the inspiration for Thomas Wolfe's Look Homeward, Angel. Here are the photographic results.

(It was also my first time playing with my new-to-me camera!)

All are great shots with good composition. I like the dof in the tree shot.

the angel shot turned out great and I notice that a freemason is buried in the middle of the tombstone row........cemeteries often have points of interest within them

Angelb, thank you! I was particularly trying to pay attention to composition and I appreciate the kind words. The photo between the branches o the tree was one of my favorites as well.

pjflan7, there were quite a few freemasons in this cemetary. We didn't notice until it was time to go that across the highway was an even older looking section of cemetary. We'll go back and explore that next time!
